                 San Fernando, Cebu

San Fernando is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. It is bounded on the north by the municipality of Carcar, on the west by the municipality of Pinamungahan, on the south by the municipality of Naga and on the east by Cebu Strait.

History
 The town was said to be named after the Rev. Father Fernando Sanchez, a well liked priest during the Spanish Era.

Economy
San Fernando’s main industries are agriculture, livestock and mining.

It is situated in between the main pool and dive shop that overlooks the scenic shorelines. It can also cater to business meetings or conferences. The Ventus is the resort’s floating restaurant. It is located in an open sea view and is surrounds by the refreshing 1,500 square meters swimming pool. It offers International cuisine as well as Filipino buffet with cultural shows during high season. The Opus is the resort’s masterpiece. Opus offers a seven course Euro-Asian cuisine. Beach dining can be arranged. Candle light dinners are held at the resort’s private beach area. Advance reservation is needed. The beach grille serves Filipino buffet with a panoramic view of the south island seas at night time. The beach grille only opens upon the Chef’s recommendations and subject to weather condition. The Fons is the fountain of the tropical resort that offers rounds of drinks, cocktails, beers, bar foods as well as tropical delicacies like halo-halo and fresh fruit juices with the refreshing ambiance of the pool. It is open 24 hours a day. The Luna is the place for fun and relaxation. It offers billiards, board games and in-house movies.

Diving is one of the best recreational activities at the resort. Pulcha has one of the best diving shops that gives ample time to schedule and get your diving license. Some of the resort’s activities are island hopping and snorkeling, talken diving, diving trips to Cabilao Island, Mactan Island, Hilutungan Island, Casal Reef, Balicasag Island and Moalboal (land trip and boat). Diving equipment rentals is also available. Open water course and advance water course (PADI) are also available as well as sunset cruise, yacht charter and banca (local outrigger) boat charter. The Carcar tour offers insight to town living with itineraries that includes tricycle rides, carabao sliegh rides, coconut midrib basket making, town tour and taste test the local coconut wine. Advance reservation is needed for this tour.

Ter resort offers concierge services, postage, first aid, medical assistance, baby sitting, safety deposit box, foreign exchange, laundry and pressing services, frees shuttle service, airline service confirmation and internet access.

Pulchra is situated at the town of San Fernando, south of Cebu City which is approximately 43 kilometers from the airport or 27 kilometers from Cebu City. Guests can arrange for airport pick- ups or hire taxi cabs/car or van at the airport to take them directly to the resort.
